3 years ago, Nathan Cleverly beat Tony Bellew, but this weekend, as promised, the Everton fan made amends, beating his rival. Bellew's rival team's star player Mario Balotelli was even in attendance, and rightfully so, with the winner of this earning a world title shot against cruiserweight champion Marco Huck. Bellew won on points, and although the clash wasn't how many expected it to be, it was certainly an unforgettable main event. Both boxers even suggested they may do a third and final fight, but where would they host it?

All three judges scored it 114-115 116-112 115-113 to Bellew. He explained the fight, saying, "I was getting tagged but I was just walking through it. I love the sport and the glory of it - I just can't quit. I feel like crying - I'm so happy to get home to my three kids. Winning means so much to me. I was gutted about the split decision, I think I won nine rounds. I got him in the corner and roughed him up, it was old school. It was only after seven rounds when I realised I wouldn't get hit with a big shot. I began to creep forward and he was always on the back foot."

Bellew was slow to start, but as he explained, he quickly tired his opponent and kept him on the ropes, delivering shot after shot. Although they lacked power, many couldn't believe that Cleverly had the heart to remain on his feet.

Will the pair fight again, and will Bellew finally get his hands on the world title he's dreamed of?
