Detroit rapper Eminem is infamously known for his hard-hitting rhymes and rather controversial lyrics. Prime example - the new Shady XV single, "Vegas" -

Basically, at one point Shady threatens to "rape" Australian songstress, Iggy Azalea:

"So swallow my pride, your lucky just to follow my ride/If I let you run alongside the Humvee/Unless you're Nicki, grab you by the wrist, let's ski/So what's it gon' be? Put that sh*t away Iggy/You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me."

Well, the "Fance" emcee wasn't hearing it. She later tweeted this heated response:

@IGGYAZALEA: "im bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend. zzzz."

@IGGYAZALEA: "its especially akward because my 14 year old brother is the biggest eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. nice!"

@IGGYAZALEA: "women in music have the bigger balls anyhow we endure much more harassment and critic. good morninnggggg!!!!!! off to camera block for AMAs!"

Then, Azalea dug a little deeper during her American Music Awards speech for "Best Rap Artist" and "Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album" on Sunday (November 23). The "Black Widow" beauty took the stage and said:

"It means so much that I can stand here against Eminem and Drake and come out with this," an emotional Iggy told the crowd, calling Eminem out while still keeping in classy and focusing on what really matters - the music... This award is the first award I've ever won in my entire life, and [it] means so much to me that it is for best hip-hop, because that's what inspired me to move to America and pursue my dreams... It's what helped me when I was a teenager to escape and to get through my life and to better times."

You go, girl!

But is 42-year-old Em ready to change his "hostile" ways. The "Rap God" just released the official music video for "Guts Over Fear" featuring Sia. "The Monster" superstar blasts:

It just breaks my heart to look at all the pain I caused.
But what am I gonna do when the rage is gone?
And the lights go out in that trailer park...
And I'm frozen cause there's no more emotion for me to pull from.
Just a bunch of playful songs that I made for fun.

According to the popular gossip webloid HollywoodLife.com, this might be Shady's attempt at an "apology." Do MstarsNews readers agree?

Eminem's highly-anticipated compilation album just hit stores on November 24 (available on iTunes).
