'Teen Mom' Cancelled? Leah Messer Cheating Scandal Forces Her Out- Will Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, And Kailyn Lowry Return?

When Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer's cheating scandal went public earlier this fall, there was talk that the reality star would be leaving the popular MTV series. There was even speculation that the network would cancel the series altogether if Messer planned on exiting. Fans were left worried that they won't be seeing their favorite teenage mothers Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Jenelle Evans again, should the worst occur. However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as MTV revealed that they have no plan on cancelling the show.

According to RadarOnline, Messer might be leaving the series, but that doesn't mean that Houska, Evans, and Lowry are also packing it in. The site is revealing that the remaining three have already signed on for another season.

"The other girls have signed on and are ready to film a sixth season," an insider told the entertainment site. "They'll be shooting as per usual."

However, Messer's exit came as a shock and she didn't clue any of her costars in on why she was saying goodbye.

"She hasn't told anyone what's really going on," the source explained.

Cosmopolitan also confirmed the exit saying that when asked by a fan on Twitter if she was doing a sixth season of the reality series that she simply replied, "No."

It has been highly speculated that the star will be leaving the series so as to not impact the judge's decision in her upcoming custody battle against ex-husband Corey Simms. The couple are currently fighting over who will be the primary caregivers for their four-year-old twin girls Ali and Aleeah.

"Leah's final court date is coming up, and her behavior on the show made her look really bad to the judge," an insider revealed.
