For Candace Cameron Bure, the friendships that she made while filming Full House will last a lifetime. In addition to still being close friends with her onscreen BFF Kimmy Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber), Candace holds a special place in her heart for Uncle Joey (played by Dave Coulier). Dave was responsible for introducing Candace to her now husband!

When the former Dancing With the Stars contestant stopped by Huffington Post Live, she revealed that Dave is the reason she met and then married Valeri Bure. The couple got married in 1996, after her friend and costar introduced the pair at a hockey game.

According to the star, during Full House's final season Dave was playing a charity hockey game and he invited the cast to come watch. When they got there, Candace sat with costar Lori Loughlin and couldn't stop looking at the attractive men skating on the ice, one of which was Val (who is a former NHL hockey player).

"We were looking at these two cute men on the ice, and I was like 'I wanna meet that one, the blonde one,' which was Val," Candace told HuffPost Live. "We went on a date the very next day, and in less than a year we were engaged." She added that after the game Dave introduced the two and she sent him a signed hockey stick as a thank you for everything.

As for her favorite memory from filming the series, the mother of three couldn't choose. "It's hard to pinpoint one memory because I was on the show for eight years and I really did grow up on it, and it's one big huge wonderful memory for me," she said.

The 38-year-old also stopped by FOX & Friends to promote her new TV movie for Hallmark called Christmas Under Wraps on Monday. She talked about her family's holiday traditions and what they do every year to celebrate.
