Marvel Comics is launching an exciting new space adventure with Guardians Team-Up #1! Writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Art Adams are setting up the Guardians of the Galaxy, including Rocket Raccoon and Gamora, against Marvel's heavy hitters, such as She-Hulk and Deadpool.

In the narrative, the Earth is held hostage against a cosmic threat so massive, that it will take more than just the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop it. The Guardians will assembled shoulder-to-shoulder with Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Imagine the Avengers' Black Widow and Haweye butting heads with the Guardians' Star-Lord and Groot.

In a press release, Guardians Team-Up Editor Katie Kubert teases what will make this crossover a must-read event, "Marvel readers better get ready for something truly fantastic and incredibly FUN as we team up the Guardians with the rest of the Marvel Universe, creating not only new friendships, but potentially new enemies, and even new romances!"

MStars News was in attendance at the Special Edition: New York convention when Kurbert was introduced to the cheering crowd. With her work on the Batman family titles, we're very excited to see what Kubert will do with this series.

Kubert adds, "By taking the most fun toys in the sandbox and pairing them together, be prepared to see something completely different, told by some of the best and brightest writers and artists in the business. And, like the nature of the team-ups themselves, both old and new creative faces to Marvel."

MStars is also a huge fan of Bendis' Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man, which we also covered the latest issue. With his previous art in Excalibur and Ultimate X,  we're pretty sure Adams will be wonders in this creative team-up.

Guardians Team-Up #1 will hit stores in February. Readers are ou excited to see the Guardians of the Galaxy go head-to-head with the Avengers?
