"I am anticipating a very tough match. Anderlecht are a young team, they know how to play and they have technical players. I like Anderlecht a lot but we are here to win," Galatasaray's coach Cesare Prandelli said this week. "Being a footballer is a fantastic job - they only need to think of their opponents and when they run they do not feel the pressure."
Meanwhile, Anderlecht's manager, Besnik Hasi, promises a focused team today.
"We are not favorites," he said, according to UEFA. "If we start with the idea that we will easily win, we will not make it. We will not underestimate Galatasaray. We won't think of the position we'll achieve in the group, we'll only think about beating Galatasaray - the only thing that matters."
Hasi also spoke about looking too far ahead in the tournament.
"Maybe it's been a factor [looking ahead to Champions League fixtures]," he said, according to Yahoo! Sports. "But if that is the case, this is not the right mindset to have because if we had won we would have approached the visit of Galatasaray with a positive outlook."
