'Girl Meets World' Spoilers!- Christmas Episode Is A 'Boy Meets World' Reunion!! [PICS]

Are you ready for some Girl Meets World festive cheer? We hope so, because the spin-off will be hosting some verity special guests from its original series, Boy Meets World in a very special Christmas episode to air in the first week of December. 

The beloved '90s sitcom - which starred Ben Savage as Cory Matthews and Danielle Fishel as his lady love Topanga Lawrence - will be delivering three guests stars to its sequel, which is set in New York City (where Cory and Topanga moved - SPOILER ALERT - in the Boy Meets World finale).

As US Weekly report, Cory's parents will be looking to visit their grandkids, meaning we'll be seeing Amy (Betsy Randle) and Alan (William Russ) Matthews. The pair, says US Weekly, will "visit their son and his family for Christmas dinner" on the upcoming episode, titled "Girl Meets Home for the Holidays". 

Joining Cory's parents will be his best bud, Shawn Hunter (played by Rider Strong). According to E! Online, Shawn "forms a bond with Cory's daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and also sees his likeness in her BFF, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter)." It only makes sense Cory's daughter would befriend someone like Shawn, right?

E! say it's the first time Shawn and Cory have met up since the Boy Meets World finale, saying "Strong is set to reprise the fan favorite role for the first time since Boy Meets World ended." According to E!, there will be plenty of Cory and Shawn hugs... of course. We also can't wait to see how Topanga deal with trying to cook the perfect holiday feast and impress her mother-in-law. 

Cory's younger brother Josh (Uriah Shelton) - who was born in the last season of Boy Meets World - will also be introduced for the first time. 

Girl Meets World follows Cory and Topanga's daughter Riley (the pair also have a son, Auggie) as she, like Cory in the original series, navigates the world outside of elementary school.
