It appears not everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Actress Drew Barrymore was recently spotted getting a ticket while coming out of a yoga class yesterday, Thursday, Nov. 27. The catch? It wasn't a parking ticket, it wasn't a speeding ticket, it wasn't even a "Hey, I'm a big fan, let's chat" ticket –– it was for jaywalking! And seeing as news broke this morning, Black Friday, it's probably safe to say her shopping day is a little less expensive since she needs to pay that ticket first.

Oh, Los Angeles, the city of obeying the crosswalks and waiting for the light to change before you cross the street. Sounds... so patient.

Perhaps Barrymore was still in New York mode, because TMZ is reporting the actress left yoga and just went straight across the street, not even bothering to head to the corner and use the crosswalk. The gall on that girl, huh?

It seems an LA officer saw the "offense" and decided to do something about it. However, it's also being reported that there were a bunch of other people doing it who didn't get caught. Hmm, perhaps the officer just isn't a fan of Barrymore's work? Or, he really, really wanted to talk to her. Or... he's a stickler.

Check out a photo from the TMZ Twitter account below:

We'd love it if this officer could spend a weekend in New York City just to see what jaywalking really is. Our guess is he doesn't have enough tickets to give out given the amount of people who make their own crosswalks in that city.

While Barrymore hasn't commented on the ticket on her Twitter page yet, we're curious ... what do you think of the actress' situation, readers?
