Back in 2013, Bruce Springsteen was honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year. To celebrate that induction, an event took place to honor not only him and his career but also the various amount of classics he has delivered over the years. The Jon Stewart-hosted event consisted of several iconic artists covering a number of songs from the Boss' catalogue, including Elton John, Neil Young, Jim James and Mumford & Sons. Now, PBS has announced plans to air the event on their network.

A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen is set to premiere on PBS this coming Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. EST.

As mentioned, the night of celebration held a number of covers of the famed New Jersey native's catalogue, including "Born in the U.S.A" done by Neil Young, "Streets of Philadelphia" by Elton John and a unique collaboration of My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James with Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello doing "The Ghost of Tom Joad." Of course, there were many, many more, but you'll have to tune in for that.

Rolling Stone reports that alongside those classic hits, Mumford & Sons performed a version of "I'm on Fire." And, of course, Springsteen went onstage with his famed E Street Band for "Thunder Road." Afterwards, the entire gang joined together for a stunning "Born to Run" finale.

Recently, Springsteen was seen at the New Jersey Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where he made a surprise appearance to induct his friend, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams.

Be sure to tune into the PBS segment on Dec. 5.
