With The Flash gaining speed on the CW network, viewers are just a few days away fro the DC Comics crossover event, entitled 'Flash vs. Arrow.' As these two superheroes join forces, will Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) be able to solve the murder of Canary, aka Sara Lance (Caity Lotz )?

As we previously mentioned, the CW has released the plot synopsis for the The Flash/Arrow crossover episodes. Oliver (Amell), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Barry though needs Arrow and his team to help him stop the metahuman Ray Bivolo, who causes people to lose control. With the scarlet speedster under the influence of Rainbow Raider, the green archer is up against not only a superhuman, but his friend.

Part 2 continues on Arrow'The Brave and the Bold as Ollie and the gang are still hunting after the boomerang-wielding killer. We already met Captain Boomerang in the cliffhanger from the recent episode. This time around, it's the Flash team who have come to help their allies in crime-fighting.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Panaker reveals Caitlin's involvement in the episode, ""Felicity comes to Caitlin for help with the Canary murder,"

Since the third season began, the question remains, "Who killed the Canary?" A mysterious figure, someone Sara knew, plunged three arrows into her chest. At first we thought it was Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), but he has other problems to deal with. Roy (Colton Haynes) killed a cop under the influence but he didn't murder Sara. Who could the real killer be then?

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim adds, "There is a major step forward in the Canary mystery. We have the folks at S.T.A.R. Labs in Central City, and they're pretty scientific. They've got a lot of resources at their disposal, and it would be kind of a shame to not have Team Arrow lean on them a little bit to help solve this mystery."

The episode, The Flash vs. Arrow, is scheduled to air on December 2. Readers, are you excited to see the Green Arrow fight against The Flash?
