Now that we have just passed November and with just a month away, ABC has just released two preview trailers for their upcoming spy/action drama. Before the January premiere of Marvel's Agent Carter, will Peggy Carter (Hayley Attwell) learn "it ain't about life and death?"

We previously mentioned here that the Agent Carter series will focus on Peggy (Atwell) trying to balance an office job with the Strategic Scientific Reserve, while going on secret missions with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). While Peggy attempts to pull off her juggling act, Stark has been framed for selling weapons on the black market.

We have also been following Peggy's guest appearances in flashbacks during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 episodes, Shadows, and The Things We Bury. From what we saw, we can speculate Carter may be facing an extraterrestrial event of her own in the upcoming series. These flashbacks represent the early beginnings of how S.H.I.E.L.D. came into place.

In the first preview trailer, "It Ain't Life and Death," Peggy appears to be lying to her roommate about what her job actually is. We also see an appearance by Boardwalk Empire's Shea Whigham as Roger Dooley, who is Carter's boss when she's not working at a phone company. Ever since Carter's debut at New York Comic Con, we can tell this show is going to be packed with action.

Check out the first preview here:

The second preview, "Peggy Carter Gets to Work," Peggy not only has to face the bad guys, she also has to deal with misogyny and chauvinism. Though we don't know his character's name, Ray Wise (Twin Peaks) states int he teaser, "I didn't know our government had great taste in secretaries. What's your name darling?"

Peggy corrects him with a fist to the face afterwards. Check out the second preview here.

Marvel's Agent Carter premieres January 6 on ABC. Readers, are you excited to see Hayly Attwell's solo series?
