As Mstars News previously reported, Creed frontman Scott Stapp alleges in a video confessional that he's not dead or on drugs despite rumors however new reports state that he was placed on a psychiatric hold days before his Facebook confessional video.

In documents obtained by TMZ the proclaimed homeless and broke singer was found by police on November 13 intoxicated and incoherent. Stapp told police that someone had been trying to poison him. With the state that Stapp was in the police put the "Arms Wide Open" singer on a 72-hour psych hold.

The report obtained by TMZ was from the Madison County Florida Sherriff's Department.

The police report goes on to state that his wife Jaclyn — who filed for divorce last month — explained that her husband hears phantom voices and has visions of people on fire, and she says he's paranoid. The story gets more involved as the report states that Stapp called his child's school announcing that on November 10 the school would become a target of an ISIS attack.

Jaclyn states that her husband's behavior stems form an acute drug binge including steroids, weed, cocaine, PCP, Special K, Crystal Meth and various prescription drugs.

However Stapp's confession video tells a much different story. He believes that people have taken advantage of him and his finances "About eight weeks ago, I began an audit of not only my record company but my personal finances," Stapp explained. "During the course of that audit a lot of things were uncovered. A lot of money was stolen from me or royalties not paid."

Despite his wife's accusations, Stapp said on his video that he's "sober as can be."
