Are you ready to "Let It Go" all over again? Well, Disney sure is. The major movie studio can't seem to let go of the idea of Frozen, and to try to cash in on the success of the first film, it is currently hard at work on a sequel to the film in addition to developing a stage musical, perhaps based on the TV show Once Upon a Time.

A year after first premiering in theaters, the film has been re-released for the holiday season in select movie houses, and will also feature a new, six-minute short that will take place after the events of the flick, but that isn't all that fans of the magical aminated feature have to look forward to.

It seems that the house of Mickey Mouse is already busy creating new endeavors for the characters of the highly popular movie.

According to a new source, The Telegraph, which sat down with the star of the first film, Idina Menzel, the voice of Elsa, the Broadway veteran said she's game to star in the follow-up film.

Menzel confirmed the news when asked if both a stage show and follow-up film were going to happen. When the news site asked if she could give any details about the projects, Idina remain coy, simply stating "that they're all in the works, ha ha!"

When the news outlet asked if she was interested in being part of Frozen 2, she explained. "Ah, yeah sure. Not the stage show — I don't know what will happen with that — but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."

The Huffington Post is also confirming the news of a sequel being in the works.

With the movie making more than $1 billion worldwide, it seems like a no-brainer for the studio to keep the story going. No news yet if the storyline will follow the premise that Once Upon a Time has taken, with the introduction of The Snow Queen.
