Surviving holiday parties can be a tough ask, what with all the workmates, booze and assorted social pitfalls you have to navigate... but Broad City's Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson are here to save you from boner pills, chatty hipster libertarians, and turn your "awkward christmas party into a holiday hootenanny".

As part of Comedy Central's "Non Denominational Christmas Special", as Huffington Post report, the two erstwhile stars of Broad City take us through a nightmare holiday party scenario, and deliver some handy tips for surviving it; from the everyday like, 'bring a gift for the hostess'... and the not-so-everyday, such as 'how to fake herpes using peppermint bark'

For all of those who think of themselves as a "modern human being who doesn't believe in god", the tips include: saying your friend's gift is from both of you, avoiding landmines like those "hipster libertarians", getting stoned in your host's bathroom, rifling through their medicine cabinet, taking their "boner pills", always seeing what happens when someone else takes their boner pills, augmenting self-medication with egg nog, and throwing a molotov cocktail when exiting the party to create a distraction while your friend makes a scene... making for a 'graceful' exit.

See? All handy hints for this holiday season. You can check out the video below:

The pair also celebrated the Comedy Central christmas special by donning their "well crafted holiday vests", posting a photo to their instagram

As reported by Mstars News, the second season of Broad City will also star Hannibal Burress and John Gemberling as they reprise their roles from Season 1, while guest stars for season two will include Susie Essman and Seth Rogen, the latter of who can be spotted in the trailer below, yelling at a kitten. The premiere of the second season will hit screens at on Jan. 14 at 10.30 p.m.
