Bill Nye The Science Guy Has Risen From the Dead, According to Twitter

"Bill Nye the Science Guy" has risen from the dead.  Rumors arose on Sunday August 26, 2012 the scientist died but he took to his Twitter account to defend his dear life and posted that he was "alive and at JPL press conf".  Nye, whose full name is William Sanford Nye, posted along a photo proof along with the message.

Nye's death was not reported on any news website, but it lingered in the Twitter community for a good time with people both shocked and disgusted by the death.  Those gullible to believe in Twiter death hoax tweeted their condolences, while others defended Nye reiterating that the scientist was indeed alive.

A Twitter user with the handler @Innocenceprobs made the welcomed and humorous announcement, "Bill Nye has risen from the dead.✌ #FalseAlarm"

Another user @SueeReid wrote, "BILL NYE LIVES!!!!!! THANK GOD...HAD ME WORRIED SICK BILL."

One of the smarter Twitter users @TroyDougall pointed out, "R.I.P. Bill Nye The Science Guy. If he was dead it would be on the news."

The Science Guy himself tweeted, "On CBS 0830 EDT, 0530 PDT. Science, Creationism, jobs, the economy. Without science: no hurricane tracking, no landing on Mars, no tweets" several hours ago.

Another well known Bill, comedian Bill Cosby also fell victim to his fifth death hoax on August 27, 2012.  It is good to know that both Cosby and Nye is still alive and well.
