'Sherlock' Season 4, 2015 Christmas Special Spoilers - Benedict Cumberbatch Wants To Star In BBC Series For Very Long Time, Will Not Quit Steven Moffat Show

While we have to wait about a year before the return of Sherlock on the BBC for its one-off Christmas special in 2015, this week Benedict Cumberbatch revealed some news on the series' future. According to the series star, who can be seen in theaters in The Imitation Game, he has no plans of quitting the show and wants to play the detective well into his old age!

"If we can keep the quality up, I can't imagine that I will ever get tired of being Sherlock," he told Vogue in a brand new interview. "I'd love to play him as an old man."

He added: "I really, really love my job. I love sets. I love crews. I love theatres. I love audiences."

Meanwhile, Cumberbatch also addresses some rumors surrounding the ominous voice of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer. While a lot of people thought the actor voiced the trailer monologue and maybe was even the Sith Lord featured in the footage, Benedict this week denied these rumors.

"I am not the voice of the Star Wars trailer, nor am I the hooded character with the rather cool new lightsaber," he told  Radio Times, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The latest rumor is that Andy Serkis is the voice featured in the voice over. Watch this movie trailer right here:
