One of the biggest stories around West Ham is Diafra Sakho getting injured while playing for Senegal. This week, during a press conference, coach Sam Allardyce stayed coy about his stance on the incident, but opened up a bit about it.
"I'm not legally qualified to make a comment any further than he didn't get injured when playing or training," Allardyce said, according to Sky Sports. "But obviously from an internal point of view the club will deal with how it happened, why it happened and what we are going to do about it. I can't medically go into any detail in a legal point of view other than the injury occurred not by playing or training."

Meanwhile, Irvine is having some trouble with his summer signings to West Brom. While we should expect some trades and transfers early in 2015, Irvine this week addressed the fans' concerns that have been growing this season.
"I can't tell them they have to be patient. I'd like them to bear with us but I can't demand that. It's up to them how they want to react and behave when they come to the games," he said, according to Express and Star. "We're working as hard as we can to get results. I'm not a negative coach, I'm a purist, I want us to attack, but I have to be realistic."
