A struggling Everton squad takes on the sorrowful Hull City team today in the English Premier League, with both sides hoping to save some face this week with a victory. Though a promising run for Everton was cut short last week with a defeat to Tottenham, we should expect some great goal-scoring opportunities from Roberto Martinez's men. Martinez this week praised Hull City's manager, Steve Bruce, explaining that today's match won't be too easy for Everton.
"I played for Steve Bruce - that's how long he's been a manager," he said. "He's a great character; a very reliable man with terrific man-management. If you look at how many clubs he's managed and how well he's done - he's a top manager."

Meanwhile, Bruce is staying positive about the rest of the 2014/2015 season.
"We haven't got the points that we would have liked," the coach explained. "All of those add up to a frustration and a disappointment. You've got to see it through and make sure you're strong enough to deal with it.ou find out when the chips are down about everybody in your squad. We've had it one way for two years, it's the first time in my reign that we've come under a little bit. How are we going to react and cope with it? I hope we roll our sleeves up and get ourselves out of it. I'm sure we will."
