Kelly Rowland Mourns Mother Doris Rowland Garrison's Death: Destiny's Child Members Rushing To Singer's Side, Will Kelly's Dad Be Invited To Funeral?

Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland is mourning her mother, Doris Rowland Garrison's death, Wednesday.

According to tweets made by ABC13 Houston reporter, Foti Kallergis, "I'm saddened to hear the news. Ms. Doris was an amazing woman. She was like a mother to me growing up. Praying for her & you."

Family friend, Desmond A. McLain also confirmed the news tweeting, "RIP Doris Rowland Garrison, the mother of @KellyRowland & My Friend Orlando Rowland."

The sad news comes months after the 33-year-old married her manager, Tim Witherspoon in May and welcomed her first born son Titan.

While the singer hasn't released a statement, fans are wondering if her group members are rushing to her side to console the star and if the singer will finally allow her father, Christopher Lovett back in her life.

Last year, Lovett told Star magazine that he wanted to reconcile with his daughter after he alleges she was taken away from him at age seven due to his heavy drinking and verbal abuse.

 "So many previous years have passed and I'm getting old. I just pray she comes back into my life before it's too late," he told Star, "I hoped I could make it up to her. But I'm still waiting for that day."
