WWE taped the December 5, 2014 edition of Friday Night Smackdown from Oklahoma City on Tuesday night, and the show begins with Santino Marella, announced as the General Manager for the night.

Dolph Ziggler defeats Luke Harper by disqualification in the first match after a low blow. The two fight after the match and ladders get involved, which leads to Santino's announcement that the two would have a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship at TLC.

The remaining members of The Authority, which now includes Big Show, cut a promo on their various opponents at TLC. Santino books the main event of Big Show and Seth Rollins against Ryback and Erick Rowan.

The New Day defeats Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. This match also furthers the feud with Goldust and Stardust.

Backstage, Naomi gets flowers and thinks they are from her husband, Jimmy Uso. But Jimmy comes in and destroys them because The Miz sent them.

Dean Ambrose cuts a promo on Bray Wyatt. Lana and Rusev come out and Lana says Rusev will not wrestle tonight and they will focus on Jack Swagger instead. Bray Wyatt comes out and beats down Ambrose, who gets carted off on a stretcher.

The Miz defeats Jey Uso after help from Damien Mizdow.

Naomi defeats Brie Bella with a roll up after AJ Lee stops Nikki Bella from helping her sister.

Ryback and Erick Rowan defeat Big Show and Seth Rollins. Da Big Guy pins Rollins after hitting him with Shell Shock.
