Kim Kardashian Was Told She Could 'Never Get Pregnant,' Kanye West's Wife Gives Revealing Interview

Kim Kardashian, the mother of 1-year-old North West, reveals in the upcoming Elle UK magazine that her and hubby Kanye West struggled to get pregnant.

"A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant," Kardashian, 34, tells Elle. "Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North."

The Paper magazine star and longtime friend-turned-husband Kanye West welcomed their first child North West on June 15, 2013 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, five weeks prior to her due date.

During episodes of her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians the reality star allowed the cameras to journey her pregnancy woes and troubles throughout the nine months.

"I want a boy and another girl; I want it to start happening straight away," North West's mom told the magazine. "I loved being part of a huge family — and I want that for North. We'd do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally."

In an interview this past January on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kardashian admitted that pregnancy was difficult for her. "The pregnancy, I wouldn't really wish that upon anyone. Anyone," she insisted. "It's all worth it in the end so I would definitely suffer through that, but pregnancy was not a good experience for me. I had a few medical issues so it was really tough and I gained a lot of weight."
