Girl Meets World Spoilers: Eric, Mr. Feeny, Shawn Returning in Season 2

Some original Boy Meets World characters have already appeared on Girl Meets World so far, and some new spoilers say that even more characters from the 90s series will be back for the sequel show.

TVLine reports the show's writers confirmed last Wednesday that Will Friedle will make his much-anticipated debut on Girl Meets World as Cory Matthews' big brother Eric in the series' upcoming second season. The episode title is "Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels," a reference to Eric's alter ego, Plays With Squirrels.

The site also reports that the characters will take a trip to Mr. Feeny's house "to retrieve something from the past." Star Ben Savage tweeted the picture at the top of the page, which shows that Rider Strong is back as Shawn Hunter for this trip. And Mr. Feeny is back, too!

"Shawn, Eric, and Mr. Feeny will be an important part of Season 2," the writers said. "Lives will change. People will grow. People won't."

Finally, the writers had one last tease for the fans. "Another member of the original cast will also join us this year," they said. "There will be an announcement about it. That is all."
