Based on the NY Times bestselling book by Cheryl Strayed, Wild stars Reese Witherspoon in a soul-searching drama following a woman's journey of self discovery after the loss of a loved one and the abandonment of a relationship. It looks like we could see an Academy Award nomination and possibly another win for Witherspoon!

Still Alice stars Julianne Moore as a woman dealing with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease. Kristen Stewart also stars as her daughter, showing the audience how this situation can tear a family apart, and also bring them together in new ways. Both actresses have Oscar buzz surrounding these performances.

Gillian Jacobs and Leighton Meester star as best friends that have to deal with same-sex marriage laws in Life Partners. As a vow to Meester's lesbian character, Jacobs' character promises not to get married until her best friend is legally able to. Unfortunately, she meets the perfect guy (Meester's real-life husband, Adam Brody) that makes her wish she never made this promise!
