Each year, NFL star wide receiver Andre Johnson, of the Houston Texans, brings a number of needy kids on a Toys 'R Us shopping spree. This year, he gave 11 kids from Child Protective Services a total of 80 seconds to grab whatever toys they wanted from the store, with the promise of him taking care of the bill. After all was said and done this week, Johnson ended up paying more than $16,000 for these kids, but definitely brightened their lives for the holiday season!

"I'm pretty sure this is breathtaking for them," Johnson said, according to the Texans website. "I couldn't imagine this as a child. I always said if I ever made it, if I was blessed to make a lot of money, I always wanted to give back and do things for kids and just help people out. That's why I do it."
He added: "Everybody just says thank you. You just help them in a way that they thought they'd never be helped. It's an opportunity for their kids to get whatever they want, and they don't have to worry about it. I'm glad to take that burden off of them."
"We'll have Fitzpatick's kid in here to add up the total," @kevincooper44. $16,266.26 is the total. #Texans pic.twitter.com/QzsOyWGPzt

When asked by ESPN why he goes out of his way to do this shopping spree, he had a great response. "I just enjoy doing it," he explained. "I always felt like if I was ever to make it, I wanted to give back. You go through stuff as a kid growing up. You understand certain situations. I understand some of the things these kids go through." Check out more sports news here! Let us know what you think of this great feel good story in the comments section below!
