Are you ready to fly? NBC is premiering its highly anticipated live stage musical Peter Pan Live! tonight on TV and streaming online, and we couldn't be more excited for our trip to Neverland. Allison Williams will take to the sky as the Girls actress takes on the role of the boy who never grew up, while Christopher Walken will strap on a hook, as he gears up to play the villainous Captain Hook.

And we aren't ashamed to admit that we will be tuning in to the broadcast for pure enjoyment and for a flashback into our childhood. While we are watching for fun, we are sure that there are people out there who are going to watch the production just to critique it, which was one of the reasons viewers tuned in to The Sound of Music last year.

But we are sure that at least a few of the 22 million people who tuned in to see Carrie Underwood take on the lead role last year enjoyed her singing and acting.

But when it comes to Williams, she knows that people are going to "hate-watch" and tune in just to critique her. In a recent interview with The Daily Beast, however, she said for the people doing that they are missing the point of the production.

"Today's audiences like to watch things cynically. And I'm on a show that's cynical in tone so I'm no stranger to that ... Hate-watching is a thing," the actress revealed. "It's a whole way of watching something, and it's not an audience that's natural to a non-cynical performance."

But Williams does give a word of wisdom to those people planning on doing that, as she said, "Peter Pan you cannot watch cynically. If you do, you're going to hate it, no question. It falls apart instantly."
