In the list of things we'll likely never get sick of, one thing that stands out is Gerald Green dunking. When it comes to brutally posterizing suckers and defying gravity like it's Charles Barkley defying going for a jog, Green is your man. But it seems like he's got a little bit of friendly competition on his own roster, as he and Phoenix Suns teammate Archie Goodwin went toe-to-toe... and through-the-legs... and over-the-teammates during an extremely competitive and really, quite amazing, dunk contest after a Suns practice in Arizona. And we've got the incredible video footage to prove it.

The pair took part in the showdown after the Suns practiced Wednesday (Dec. 3) following their 116-99 home win against Roy Hibbert and the Indiana Pacers and luckily for us, there were cameras present to capture proceedings.

The battle between the 6' 5" Goodwin and the 6' 8" Green is one for the ages. Some particular highlights are the off-the-wall dunk from Green about 16 seconds into the video, as well as the pair of dunks over their teammates, with the clinchers coming with the pair of through-the-leg dunks to finish things off.

Of course, as excellent as Goodwin is here, Green is no stranger to dunking with flair, having competed in the NBA All-Star Dunk Contest three times, winning in 2007. You can check out his title-winning attempts below.

In a bench role, Green is averaging 14.4 points and 21 minutes per game this season, while Goodwin, in only his second year as a pro, has only played in nine games in a limited reserve role.

The Phoenix Suns, meanwhile, sit at 11-8 for the season, trying to capture last year's surprise goodwill and mesh their potent three-guard attack -- comprised of Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe and off-season signee Isaiah Thomas -- with their run-and-gun game plan. As Bright Side of the Suns points out, they did just that again Indiana on Tuesday, as the three "combined for an incredible stat line of 61 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds, and 8 steals (against only 5 turnovers) in 74 minutes of play."

With the Suns struggling slightly this year and holding on to eighth spot in the brutally tough Western Conference, perhaps a bit of Green and Goodwin's dunking ability in actual games wouldn't go astray.
