It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Anaheim Ducks battle it out on the ice against the Minnesota Wild in Week 8 of the regular season on Friday, December 5 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Ducks snag the No. 12 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 16-6-5 record:
"The Ducks are beat up on the blue line, hence the addition of aging defender Eric Brewer from Tampa. They are missing a beat as they allowed three or more goals nine times in November. Get well soon, John Gibson."
Meanwhile, the Wild currently hold the No. 16 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 14-9-1 record. According to Burnside:
"The Wild are just a bit off in recent days as they stutter-step their way into December. They are an embarrassing 29th on the power play, scoring on 9.6 percent of their opportunities. That's no way to make the playoffs."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSN+ and PT25, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WNIO, KLAA, KWSN, and 740 The Fan.
