Following the first few weeks of the NBA regular season, the Spurs snag the impressive No. 3 spot in MArc Stein's official NBA power ranking for ESPN.com with a 13-5 winning record:

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies currently hold the equally awesome No. 2 spot (out of 30 total teams), also with 15 wins and only three losses. According to Stein:

"A loud statement win in Portland marked the first time in team history that the Griz halted an opponent's winning streak spanning at least nine games. An 11-0 start against the West essentially has Memphis on even footing with the team in possession of the league's longest active winning streak."
