Anna Faris Pregnant: Gives Birth to Premature Son

Actress Anna Faris and husband Chris Pratt welcomed a baby boy to the family on Saturday, Aug 25. This is the couple's first child together. The little bundle of joy surprised the couple by arriving earlier than the scheduled due date.

Faris' rep. Dominique Appel reported to People, "He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit). The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time."

Faris, 35, and her "Parks and Recreations" hubby named their son Jack.

After the birth Pratt tweeted:

@prattprattpratt: It's a boy! Thanks for all your kind words. In lieu of gifts we ask that you mouth kiss a stranger.

The "Scary Movie" funny woman was first married to Ben Indra in June 2004. Following a divorce in April 2007 due to "irreconcilable differences," Faris met Pratt on the set of the film "Take me Home Tonight." The couple got engaged in January 2009 and married on July 9, 2009 in a small ceremony in Bali.
