Car accidents can't keep Angelina Jolie down! Following last night's appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart the actress found herself surrounded by swarms of paparazzi whilst trying to get to her car. During the ever so difficult task, largely due to the screams and shouts from both fans and the cameras, a Jolie-lover appeared to suffer from a "panic attack" and went over the gate. To that, Brad Pitt's lovely and oh, so generous wife came to their rescue and even snapped a selfie. Which, of course, made the fan – known only as Techna – feel 100% better. So, not only can she act and direct, like her upcoming film Unbroken, but she's also a regular Mother Teresa. Talk about brownie points...

The appearance on the late night show was made to promote Jolie's upcoming film, the aforementioned Unbroken, which tells the tale of Olympic runner Louis Zamperini, who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces back during World War II. Luckily, no one was taken prisoner during Jolie's little moment with the paparazzi last night. Check out the actress' difficult exit (and selfie) from TMZ over at the site.

After feeling the comforting nature that is Angelina Jolie Techna posted the selfie on Instagram.

From looking at Techna's Instagram, it appears she just loves celebrities, because she has quite a few selfies with a number of celebs. Which leads us to the question: was that panic attack fake just to get a picture with Angelina Jolie? Oh boy... we hope not.

Readers, what do you think?

Unbroken will be released this coming Christmas. Watch the trailer here:
