The title of the highly anticipated One Direction sophomore album was finally announced through Twitter on Wednesday - One Directioners, prepare yourselves for "Take Me Home."

The British pop singer Louis Tomlinson posted on his Twitter page Aug. 29:

@Louis_Tomlinson: "So pleased to tell you that our new album is called "take me home" can't wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! #takemehome."

Just in time to celebrate band member Liam Payne's 19th birthday!

While "Take Me Home" is not set to drop until sometime in November, the lead single "Live While We're Young" will be released on October 1. According to the Idolator, 1D fans have set a record by making "Live While We're Young" the fastest-selling pre-order single in history (and it's only August!). The video for the track was shot by One Direction in England last weekend.

The British pop boy band is also scheduled to perform at the 2012 MTV VMA's, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 6. One Direction will host a VMA special entitled "One Direction: My First Time" before the airing of the live show from L.A.

Lots of exciting news for 1D enthusiasts!
