'Marvel's Agent Carter' Spoilers: Will Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter "Get To Work" In January Premiere? [WATCH]

Now that we are in the midst of December and with just a month away, ABC has just released special news for their upcoming spy/action drama. With the January premiere date of Marvel's Agent Carter coming up, will Peggy Carter (Hayley Attwell) "get to work" and save the word in a two-hour premiere?

We previously mentioned here that show focuses on Peggy (Atwell) trying to balance an office job with the Strategic Scientific Reserve, while going on secret missions with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). While Peggy attempts to pull off her juggling act, Stark has been framed for selling weapons on the black market.

We have also been following Peggy's guest appearances in flashbacks during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 episodes, Shadows, and The Things We Bury. From what we know, we can speculate Carter may be facing an extraterrestrial catastrophe, something possibly Inhuman, of her own in the upcoming series.

According to Marvel, the series premiere will be a very special two-hour event. Though originally an eight-episode arc, ABC has now tightened it into a seven-part television event. The debut will take place in a two-hour time slot (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET).

A.V. Club also states Peggy Carter will make a cameo in the upcoming Avengers: Age Of Ultron. We can only speculate it will be either a flashback or we will see Peggy in her old age, like Captain America: The Winter Solider.

We also reported on the first preview trailers released, "It Ain't Life and Death," features an appearance by Boardwalk Empire's Shea Whigham as Roger Dooley, Carter's boss when The second preview, "Peggy Carter Gets to Work," Peggy not only has to face the bad guys, she also has to deal with misogyny and chauvinism.
