Season 4 of Person of Interest will kick off CBS in the new year with an exciting new number on Team Machine. With Reese (Jim Caviezel), and Finch (Michael Emerson) in the midst of a violent mob war and under Samaritan's radar, will they be able to save  Emma (played by guest star, Blair Brown)?

As we previously mentioned, The Machine was beaten by a much more powerful Artificial Intelligence, known as Samaritan. To stay hidden from Samaritan's growing radar, Finch (Emerson) and his group assumed normal, regular lives to prevent themselves from getting caught. The stakes are even higher now as Shaw's cover was unexpectedly blown by Samaritan.

In The Devil You Know, Reese and Finch were occupied rescuing Elias (Enrico Colantoni) from his rival, Dominic. Though he was able to beat Dominic at his own game, Elias lost one of his closest friends in the process. Elias promises to go to war against Dominic, but if Reese (Caviezel) and Finch (Emerson) get in his way, their alliance is over.

According to IGN, the Fringe actress will make an appearance on POI as Emma. Her character is described as "an elegant and warm former public school teacher." Forced into early retirement, Emma receives a jury summons that teases the promise of some excitement back into her life.

The Orange is the New Black actress will show up on the 14th episode, airing in February.

Should we trust Emma at this point? Now that Shaw (Sarah Shahi) has been discovered, is Samaritan willing to risk innocent lives to get the rest of Team Machine out of hiding? Samaritan's blonde-haired assassin, Martine, has an army of operatives at her disposal, which includes Devon (Nick Tarabay) and Brooks (Theodora Woolley), who were once Shaw's proteges.
