Actress Gabrielle Union opens up to Huffington Post Live about channeling her inner housewives reality star and dished about her extravagant wedding to Miami Heat athlete Dwyane Wade.

Despite recently being married, the "Being Married Jane" star is far from a housewife as she continues to dive back into her work starring in Chris Rock's newest film, "Top Five." The celebrity dished about playing a fame hungry reality star and her fears of offending her friends that currently work in reality TV, "I kinda got a little nervous. I have friends who were on reality shows and I never wanted to mock them, I don't want to make light of their families or how they choose to make a living."

She continued, "Plus this movie is really when the cameras aren't' rolling. Other than Tamar's blonde hair- I can actually say she was the inspiration for the blonde hair and the glitz and the glamour, you know, that you see that on the show but I really wanted to tap in the under belly of fame and the fear of losing fame and so I watched a lot of 'American Idol' elimination rounds because you see these people plucked from obscurity, they're taken on this journey, they change their style."

She added, "They start to develop fans and America's voting and they feel on top of the world and they feel like they're dreams are becoming a reality. They're famous to a degree ... and then there comes a point where Ryan Seacrest holds the fate of their life in their hands and in that moment you see them shaking and tearing up and you can see the terror in their face. 'What does it mean if America doesn't vote me on?' 'Who am I without this?'"

While the Gabrielle's character is set to marry Chris in the new film, the celebrity gushed to Marc Lamont Hill about her recent wedding to the NBA star, "It's a different life; it's the right person and at the right time," she proudly admitted that her husband did most of the planning "He led the charge for everything with [the] wedding. He wanted this big moment and it was perfect."
