Despite reports that Tim Tebow and Jana Duggar are dating, it looks like those reports were just some very wishful thinking on the part of some bloggers out there. While 19 Kids & Counting star Jana has watched her younger sisters Jessa and Jill get married within the last year, it seemed like her turn was coming when rumors of a relationship with the former NFL quarterback began making their way online. However, it looks that the two couldn't be further from being in a relationship with each other.
According to Us Weekly, who spoke to a rep for Tebow, they said that not only are Jana and Tim not dating, but that they actually "have never even met."
Reports of the coupling began making their way online after Jana's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, were reportedly meeting in secret with Tim's mom Pam Tebow to discuss getting their kids together.
The two were both at a speaking engagement for a pro-life event at the Loving Choices Pregnancy Center's fundraiser in Arkansas. Their meeting at the establishment is what sparked the rumors that they were trying to play matchmaker to their kids.
E! News is reporting that Jim Bob took to his Facebook page to talk about meeting Tim's mother. "A great lady and a great cause!" the patriarch of the Duggar family wrote, adding, "We enjoyed hearing Pam Tebow share tonight."
The Duggar's cousin, Amy Duggar, was also at the event and she took to her Instagram account to post a picture with the football player's mama.
Had the greatest little chit chat today with Mrs. Pam Tebow! She has the sweetest heart!!

"Had the greatest little chit chat today with Mrs. Pam Tebow!" the star wrote in her captioned, adding "She has the sweetest heart!!!"
