With Gotham and The Flash already popular programs, another DC Comics title is making their rounds on TV, this time on TNT. Based on the Teen Titans series, Titans will feature Batman's former boy wonder, Robin, all grown up and introduce Dick Grayson to audiences as Nightwing.

In the DC Comics Universe, Robin formed a team with other teen superheroes, such as Wally West aka Kid Flash, and Beast Boy. Together, they faced off against the X-Men and Slade Wilson, known as Deathstroke the Terminator. TNT previously made the announcement but now there has been recent developments about the TV adaptation by Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind).

On Twitter, Kyle Reis @kyler416 asked Geoff Johns @geoffjohns, the Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment, "I'm loving all of these DC TV shows! Arrow, Flash, Constantine, they are all great! Any update on the Teen Titans Tv show?"

Johns responds, "We shoot the pilot next year!"

The Flash executive producer then adds, "@kyler416 Long time coming to get Nightwing to live action...!"

According to Screenrant, Titans revolves around Batman's former sidekick-turned superhero as he puts together a band of new superheroes. Classic Titans characters, such as Starfire and Raven, will be making their way to the live-action series.

TNT has also renewed Legends, starring Sean Bean and Ali Larter, for a second season. Agent X, starring Sharon Stone, is also in the works.

We reported that Dick Grayson will be making an appearance too in Gotham. In the Batman prequel, audiences will be introduced to Grayon's parents before they were murdered and how they first met.

As we previously mentioned, in the comics, the boy wonder has grown up and become a spy with his own solo series, titled Grayson from writers Tim Seeley, Tom King, and artist Mikael Janin, which we highly recommend picking up. A high concept idea, Grayson is a superhero/spy comic but with none of the costumed heroes involved.

The fifth installment of the must-read series is currently out in stores now.

The pilot of Titans will start filming in 2015. Readers, are you excited to see Nightwing on the show?
