While fans might be extremely excited for the return of E!'s hit series, Fashion Police, it seems that one of the panelists is not too happy about the addition of Kathy Griffin, or more specifically, the comedienne's salary. Kelly Osbourne who has been outspoken about how different the show will be now that Joan River's is gone, even questioned her own return to the series. However, now that Kelly has agreed to return with fellow co-hosts Griffin and Guiliana Rancic, there seem to be some tensions on set.
According to Radar Online, it seems that what Kelly is upset about is that fact that Griffin's salary is considerably more than hers was when she made her debut with the series.
"Kathy's starting pay is considerably higher than she was granted," the source explained, adding that Kelly is "pissed."
So was it a good idea to bring Kathy onto the program? Well it doesn't seem like it, as the source further reveals that neither her nor Kelly have ever been friends with each other.
"Kathy and Kelly have never seen eye-to-eye on anything and it seems like there is going to be a lot of drama," the source explained.
And it might seem that Kelly is "pissed" at the 54-year-old comedienne because she feels like she is trying to replace one of her best friends.
Osbourne called Joan, "the only grandmother I ever knew," in one of her Facebook posts following her September death.
In an interview with Al Rocker from November on the Today show the star started to get angry and emotional when Joan's name was brought up.
"I have started to get to my angry phase. So, it's not been fun," the star said of trying to mourn the star without people continuously bringing her up. "
She quickly asked to change the subject, saying, "Can we please move on so I don't cry on morning TV?"
Fashion Police will return after the Golden Globes in January.
