Chris Rock's Top Five Rappers Revealed; Star Offers Up Parental Advice For Jimmy Fallon & All-Time Favorite MCs In 2014 Video [WATCH]

Top Five, Chris Rock's new movie that he wrote and directed and stars in — is all about lists. So who are Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon's top five rappers of all time in 2014? The answers are surprising, to say the least, and alongside illustrious names like Jay-Z, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Kanye West, there are also a couple of not-so-famous names. Appearing on The Tonight Show last night, Dec. 8, Rock challenged Fallon to offer up his top five rappers of all time, and Fallon, for once in his life, seemed somewhat put on the spot.

"First, I've got to say Beastie Boys ... Gosh," he stammered, before listing Jay-Z, Run-DMC, Eminem and, in a shock result, Rappin' Duke, who, as Rolling Stone points out is from "a 1983 novelty track by Shawn Brown, who pretends to rap like John Wayne."

"Rappin' Duke, huh," teases Rock. "Was it between him and [Sir] Mix-A-Lot?"

Rock also revealed his own top five rappers — at the moment — to Billboard, mentioning Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross ("The only artist right now who doesn't have a toe in Nickelodeon").

But in his chat with Fallon, Rock also offered up some parenting advice. MStars News has reported that Fallon and his wife recently welcomed the birth of their second daughter, and Rock said two is better than one!

Rock talked about his own experiences as a rapper, saying, "I had a rap deal on Atlantic or somewhere. I DJ'd."

"I was nice. Spin with your elbows ... I could do tricks," the comedian laughs. "I had a deal to rap, too, [but] the record never came out. It was way back — it wasn't even a record deal, it was a 12-inch deal."

When asked where that 12-inch might be, Rock says, "I got a storage space," saying that the demos are in there along with his "original cut of Louis CK's Pootie Tang."

He then revealed he has "talked' with The Roots about doing an album and pointed out that Questlove also did the soundtrack to Top Five, laughing that they "had to do the whole soundtrack while he was doing a Taco Bell commercial."

And while Rock considers himself "the Lance Armstrong of smart," he admitted that "It is hard to write a script, but it's not you've got no job."

He added it was either write Top Five or "work with Nick Cannon on Wild N Out 2. I like Wild N Out," he laughed, "but y'know."
