Lil Wayne's angry with Cash Money Records - and he's definitely not fooling around.

UPDATE: Lil Wayne vs. YMCMB Beef: Pusha T Hypes GOOD Music Transition After 'The Carter V' Rapper Disses Cash Money Records On Twitter, Kanye West Approves?

Just last week, the "Lollipop" superstar went on a heated Twitter rant against YMCMB, apologizing to fans for the continued delay of his new album, The Carter V. At this point, the highly-anticipated release is beyond Weezy's control:

@LilTunechi: "To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it."

@LilTunechi: "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation."

@LilTunechi: "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."

@LilTunechi: "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u."

The industry drama simply erupted from there:

And according to former CMB artist Turk (a popular member of Hot Boys), if the New Orleans emcee wants to leave, he should. And never look back.

In a recent interview with VladTV, Turk explains:

"Sometimes people come to a conclusion in their life where enough is enough, I guess... I support Wayne 1000%. I support anybody that wants to do their own thing - being independent. There should be no problem if a person wants to branch out" (via AllHipHop.com).

But that doesn't mean the Young & Thuggin' rapper totally despises his former label. In fact, he considers the company founders (brothers Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams) complete "geniuses." They definitely know how to "hustle" within the business... which maybe isn't always a good thing. No wonder why so many signed musicians are finally getting ticked-off:

"That's been overdue. Me personally, I feel like if I do business with anybody I'm gonna be fair... If we're all getting money it's only right to be fair... I just believe in karma. That stuff comes back to you."

Well, stay tuned. Will Christina Milian's rumored lover stay with YMCMB?
