When a fundraiser fails, just ask mommy for the money. That is exactly what The Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Giudice's daughter Gia is doing. The reality star's kid, who is part of the music group 3KT, started a Kickstarter campaign as a way to fund a new music video. However, when the proceeds weren't enough to get the video off the ground, the stars turned to mommy to fund the rest of it. The only problem is Teresa Giudice is on her way to prison and is also reportedly bankrupt.
According to Radar Online, the stars placed their hopes of a Christmas music video shoot in the hands of their fans when they set up their Kickstarter account, but when the time ran out it didn't seem that the fans wanted it.
The goal was to raise $7,500 for the shoot, but after the girls only amassed $926 they turned to their parents to pay the rest of the way.
"Teresa and the parents of the other two girls agreed to pay for the video to be made," said a source to Radar Online. "There was no way Teresa was going to have a disappointed Gia on her hands."
All the people that donated the $926 will be happy to know that because of the girls generous parents that we will have another 3KT video just in time for Christmas.
"The video has been shot, and Teresa is extremely proud of how well Gia did," the insider explained.
Giudice took to her Instagram account to post pictures from what looks like the set of the music video, which took place in Harold Square in New York City.
