Golden Globes 2015 TV Nominations [FULL LIST] HBO's 'True Detective' & FX's 'Fargo' Lead Nominees, 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' & AMC's Walking Dead' Snubbed

The 72^nd annual Golden Globes Awards ceremony will take place on Jan. 11, 2015, showcasing the best in entertainment from 2014. Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler once again, we're sure to have an enjoyable night of talents coming together to celebrate the best performances of the year. But who will go home a winner? As far as the nominees in the TV portion of the awards show, it looks like the odds are in the favor of FX's Fargo and HBO's True Detective. According to IGN, these two violent crime drama series, which both debuted in 2014, are up for Best TV Movie or Miniseries. If one of these two shows gets this award, we could see how the Foreign Press feels about which is better!

Also, Allison Tolman, Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Hanks and Martin Freeman of the FX series were nominated for awards while Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Monaghan will represent HBO in the similar categories.

These two shows might be having an impressive first year of existence thanks to all of these nominations, but we should also point out a few more newcomers that received nominations. Clive Owen is nominated for Best Actor in a Drama series for The Knick, The Affair received a Best Drama Series nod, and Viola Davis is nominated as well for How To Get Away with Murder.

Unfortunately, some shows didn't get any recognition this year. AMC's hit zombie series The Walking Dead, ABC's popular sitcom Modern Family, and Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine were snubbed this time around.
