Annie star Cameron Diaz's biggest fears are kids and singing! As rumors swirl that the Sex Tape star and boyfriend Benji Madden of Good Charlotte are engaged, one of Hollywood's most stunning beauties and biggest names revealed last night, Dec. 10, to Seth Meyers that her new movie — also starring Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhané Wallis and Rose Byrne — delivered the one thing she's "terrified" of ... and that yelling at kids is "really fun."

With Hello! magazine reporting that Diaz, who has been dating Madden since June, has been seen with an engagement ring on her finger, the Bad Teacher star took to Late Night with Seth Meyers and explained how much fun she had playing Miss Hannigan in the new adaptation of Annie.

"It's a meaty part," she told Meyers, "especially because you get to yell at kids, which is really fun."

As Meyers pointed out, yelling at kids is something Diaz is becoming known for, what with her roles in Bad Teacher and now Annie.

"Yeah! The first time, I just let it rip. It's so much fun to see their faces. But then afterwards I do tell them, 'Lookit, I'm acting: That's not really how I am.'"

In the interview with Meyers, the biggest revelation was when Diaz admitted that she was terrified of singing in Annie.

"I cried!" the star revealed. "I sobbed! I don't sing. It's terrifying for me to sing."

Diaz — whose engagement rumors MStars News reported on in October — also pointed out that she only had "maybe three or four months" to prepare her voice for the role, saying that "for a movie where my character was meant to be a singer," it was a problem that she doesn't have "any control" over her singing voice.

"I tried my best, though!" she added.

The star also revealed that after showing her good side — by getting the girls's coats and hand warmers during winter filming — the kids wouldn't "buy" her good side.

Perhaps, posed Meyers, that had something to do with her prosperity for off-color language?

"This is what I think," responded Diaz. "They are in an adult situation. if you don't like how adults talk, don't be in an adult situation."

She added that the child actors weren't really offended, but used swearing as annexes to "rack up the cash."

Diaz also explained that she went to high school with Snoop Dog, adding that the hip-hop superstar was "a year older" than her, but she spotted his talent and that her grandma would go hunting for snakes in the desert in Arizona!
