New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has a no-trade clause in his contract. But is the Knicks' disastrous start to the season be enough for him to waive it and leave New York? Can an MSG exit be in the works?

That's a possibility, according to the New York Post, which reported all the losing has gotten to the seven-time All-Star and that he is keeping his options open. The Knicks are 4-20, which is the worst start in franchise history. Anthony is in the first year of a five-year, $124 million contract and averaging 22.9 points per game this season, according to Sports Illustrated.

Anthony's agent, Leon Rose, denied that Anthony wants to leave New York.

"Carmelo, as always, is committed to the Knicks," Rose told the New York Daily News. "There have never been discussions about trades or wanting to leave New York. Any story, rumor, report to the contrary is utter nonsense."

But the Post reports that Anthony recently got into an altercation with teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. and that like most Knicks fans, he's sick of all the losing. Even though many could blame him for it.

The Knicks are 27th in the NBA in points per game, despite Anthony's gaudy totals, because of a stagnant offense that utilizes little playmaking. Teammates aren't happy about his lack of passing and defense, the Post reported. Anthony has long been known as one of the league's top gunners and that is often cited as a reason his teams have never made serious championship runs.

Anthony, who is married to former TRL VJ La La, re-signed with the Knicks after missing the playoffs for the first time in his career last season.

The hard times continued this season, and then some. The Knicks have lost 10 straight games.

"I'm willing to be patient," Anthony told the Post in September. "Now, how long am I willing to be patient? I can't tell you that."
