HBO has released the official poster for Season 2 of the critically acclaimed, Looking. When the second season starts, will the dynamic trio, inlcuding Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez), and Dom (Murray Bartlett), discover "there's more out there?"

As we previously mentioned, the series revolves around the lives of three friends in San Francisco. In their own way, each one explores in their own way how life treats a new generation of gay men. The poster's tagline, "There's more out there," reinforces the themes as the trio goes through romance, heartaches, and hidden secrets.

In the first season, Patrick (Gorff), the 29-year old video game designer, was getting back into the dating world after his ex's engagement. At the age of 31, Agustín (Alvarez) agrees to move in with his long-term boyfriend in Oakland, but is a little bit unsure about monogamy and losing the energy of city life. The oldest at 39, Dom (Bartlett) is daunted by the success of an old flame, as well as approaching romance at his middle age, while seeing his professional goals left unfulfilled.

In the previous released trailer, we noticed Patrick still pining over Kevin Matheson (Russell Tovey), even though he doesn't want to open about their relationship. Poor Dom doesn't know where he belongs with Lynn (Scott Bakula). Though Agustín has been through a pretty bad breakup of his own, he's slowly picking himself up again.

The trailer ends with a quote from Walt Whitman, "Happiness not in another place, but this place, not for another hour, but this hour."

During 2014, HBO presented the series finales of True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and The Newsroom. While we're definitely going to miss them, each in their own way, we can't wait for the new season of Looking to start in in the new year 2015.

Looking returns Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 On HBO at 10/9c. Readers, are you excited to see this second season start?
