The December 15, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and begins with special General Manager for the evening, Chris Jericho.

Y2J thanks the fans for voting for him for the Extreme Moment of the Year at the Slammy Awards. He talks about how Fandango took his Slammy and demands he return it. Paul Heyman comes out instead, mocks Y2J, and says he should manage Raw tonight. He says he has beef with Jericho, but Y2J responds that even though Heyman gave him his big break in ECW, Heyman still owes him $200.

Heyman says he is not here on behalf of Brock Lesnar tonight, but instead to address Seth Rollins' failure to defeat John Cena at TLC and take away his No. 1 Contender status to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins comes out and says he had Cena beat, but Roman Reigns interfered. He claims Cena can't beat him without help and calls him a coward. He wants a rematch, but not tonight.

Cena comes out and says he wants that fight tonight, and Jericho books it inside a steel cage. Jericho also books himself in a match against Paul Heyman with the stipulation decided by the fans on the WWE App.

Luke Harper and Big Show defeat Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler when Show lays out Rowan with the KO Punch.

Fandango is backstage with Rosa Mendes. Jericho comes in and says he will come for Fandango after he finishes with Heyman.

Renee Young interviews The New Day, who talk about Goldust and Stardust.

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella defeat Alicia Fox and Natalya.

Jericho hosts the Highlight Reel with Rusev and Lana. Lana talks about how Rusev destroyed Jack Swagger last night. Jericho insults Lana a bunch of times and eventually brings out Ryback to fight the Bulgarian Brute. Ryback stares own Rusev, who leaves the ring.

A vignette airs for The Ascension's call up from NXT.

The New Day defeat Goldust and Stardust.

Renee interviews The Miz and Damien Mizdow about Miz's facing Jimmy Uso later in the night. Miz says Jimmy feels inadequate.

Adam Rose tells his Rosebuds that they are going to have a huge after-party after his match. Kane comes in and says he wants a fight. He gets it, beats Rose, and Tombstones the Bunny.

Jericho comes out for his match with Heyman, who tries to weasel out of it by writing a check for $200. Y2J won't have it and goes to the board to see the results of the App vote. The fans chose a Street Fight. Heyman asks why Jericho wants to do this, and why he wants to get into a fight with Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar comes out and stares down Jericho. Y2J goes for the Codebreaker, but Lesnar swats him away and hits him with the F5.

Fandango comes out, mocks Jericho's entrance, and kisses the Slammy Award. Roman Reigns' music hits and he comes through the crowd. He spears Fandango. He prepares to speak but Big Show's music hits. Reigns warns the giant not to come into the ring. Show says Reigns made a mistake when he put his hands on him last night, but Reigns just drills him with a Superman Punch on the apron. Show lands on his feet, gets angry, and tosses the steel stairs.

Jimmy Uso defeats The Miz in a match that helps further endear Mizdow to the crowd.

Renee interviews Seth Rollins, who complains about having to fight Cena tonight in a cage. He again says The Authority needs to come back because even those in charge, like Chris Jericho, are not safe.

The main event begins, and it's a lengthy back-and-forth affair. For the finish, Rollins tries to escape the cage, but Cena climbs up and stops him. He delivers an Attitude Adjustment from the top rope and both men are down. Lesnar's music hits and he enters the cage. He delivers multiple German Suplexes to Cena as Heyman poses with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt outside the cage.

Lesnar plants Cena with an F5 and stares down Rollins. Heyman comes in the ring and offers his hand to Rollins. Mr. Money in the Bank shakes it, Curb Stomps Cena, and walks out of the cage with his briefcase.
