'Sons Of Anarchy' Season 7: Katey Sagal, Theo Rossi, Charlie Hunnam Say 'Thank You' For Series Finale! [WATCH]

The ratings have arrive for the series finale of season 7, making Sons of Anarchy a phenomenal hit on FX.  For a special video, the entire cast, including Charlie Hunnam (Jax Teller), Katey Sagal (Gemma Teller), Theo Rossi (Juice), and Jimmy Smits (Nero) came together one last time to say "Thank You" to the viewers and their fans.

During the series finale, Jax said his goodbyes to his kids and to the club, leaving Nero (Smits) and Wendy (Drea De Matteo) as their guardians. While being chased by the police, Jax went out riding on his father's motorcycle, heading straight towards his death. After so many deaths In Tara's name, Jax felt free as he let his arms loose and collided head-first into the incoming truck.

According to Deadline, the final season ratings hit an all-time high For FX. A record number of 9.26 million total viewers were anxiously watching the final ride come to a close. Twitter was on fire that night as well as fans became emotionally invested to the epic 7 minute musical interlude.

FX CEO John Landgraf tells the site, "It's a rare and remarkable accomplishment for a television show to generate its - and our channel's - highest ratings in its final season. We thank Kurt Sutter and his team for an epic ride."

The behind-the-scenes featurette is spliced with footage from all seven seasons, as the cast express their gratitude.

Rossi states, "Thank you is not an appropriate term of what the fans have done, not just the show, but for my life"

Sagal adds, "Thank you so much for supporting us all these years, and for really taking the time to invest in the story. We really appreciate that."

As we previously mentioned, creator/showrunner Kurt Sutter sat down with his leading man and discussed the ending in Anarchy Afterward. There was only one turnout Sutter had in mind, never aiming for an open-ending. The Pacific Rim actor called those last minutes, "the greatest celebration of who Jax was."
