HBO previously announced the series order to the remake of the late sci-fi author Michael Crichton's cult classic, Westworld. From the first look at the modern adaptation, will actress Ingrid Bolso Berda (who plays Armistice) discover there are "no rules, no limitations?"

As we previously mentioned, the 1970s western/thriller centered around an amusement park and its guests. A precursor to Jurassic Park, as writer/director, Crichton imagined three worlds - the West World, Medieval World, and Roman World - inhabited by human-like androids. Rebelling against their programming, the robots run amok and start attacking the tourists.

This re-imagination of Westworld takes a dark look at the consequences of our exponentially advancing technology. The new series reunites Jonathan Nolan along with J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk, responsible for the action-packed drama, Person of Interest. The Interstellar co-writer, who knows a lot about Artificial Intelligence, previously directed the episode, Reverence, which introduced Sameen Shaw and turned Sarah Shahi into an action star.

Entertainment Weekly has provided readers with the first look, featuring the Norwegian actress dressed up in her cowboy outfit. Notice the way she is ready to pull the trigger of her rifle. With the facial scarring of tattoos on the side her face, we can only guess if she is a robot or a human.

Nolan teases, 'It's a place where you can be whoever you want to be and there are no consequences-no rules, no limitations. What happens in Westworld stays in Westworld.''

Co-creator Lisa Joy adds, Co-creator Lisa Joy adds 'It's sci-fi but mashed up with a Western. We get to look backward and forward.''

Check out the first teaser here:

The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Miranda Otto, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, and Simon Quarterman.

Westworld will premiere on HBO in 2015. Readers, are you excited to se this sci-fi/western reboot?
