'The Vampire Diaries,' 'Once Upon A Time' And 'Pretty Little Liars' Spoilers: Will Bonnie And Jeremy Reunite? What About Regina And Robin Hood? And What's Next For 'A'?

As it draws nearer to the holiday season, we're grateful for the upcoming time we get to spend with family and friends. But we aren't happy that we have to say goodbye to our TV families for a long winter hiatus as they prepare for the second half of the TV season. Among some of our favorite shows taking a long winter nap are The Vampire Diaries, Once Upon a Time and Pretty Little Liars.

Some of these naps may be longer than others, as Once won't be returning to our TV screens until the beginning of March, whereas Liars will be back not even a week into the new year.

But we have some details on these three shows that we are hoping can sustain you through the cold and make you hopeful for the warmer weather.

First up we have Pretty Little Liars, which returns Jan. 6, so fans don't have too much time to wait for this series to come back.

According to E! News, the girls aren't just going to have to watch their backs for "A" this season, but they'll also have to beware of a new "troublemaker" who will make her debut next year.

"In the episode where Mona met her demise, she was talking to her friend Lesley on the phone that day and we finally get to meet Lesley," creator Marlene King teased of the villain, saying, "She comes to town."

As for what's happening on The Vampire Diaries between Jeremy and Bonnie ... well, we can say their reunion's going to be odd once Bonnie gets freed from The Other Side.

"She tried to take the high road, and she did, but by the end of the day she realized, 'This isn't working. I'm alone here. This sucks. Screw it,'" executive producer Caroline Dries revealed to E! "This first chapter of Bonnie being stuck in this prison world is over, and a new badass Bonnie is emerging."

As for some romance gossip from Once Upon a Time, when we last left off Regina had just said a tearful goodbye to Robin Hood, but when we return in March, will the two find a way to get back together?

Creators Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis talked to Entertainment Weekly, reporting that Regina and Robin's story is just getting started.

"What Regina is or isn't doing, we aren't going to say right now," Horowitz explained. "But yes, you have not seen the last of Robin Hood."

Kitsis seconded that, adding, "We're just in the middle of the book here."
