K. Michelle, Idris Elba Break Up/Pregnancy Rumors: Singer Breaks Down During Interview Over Failed Relationship [AUDIO]

News rumors alleged that singer K. Michelle may have been pregnant with actor Idris Elba's baby during their 8-month relationship.

During her interview with Russ Par's show, the singer broke down about her break up with British star and became emotional after explaining that he was aware that she was going to write music about their brief fling. She says the break up was due to the recent birth of his newborn and the singer said that she didn't want to get in the way of his family, "It's not a hate thing, we don't hate each other. It's the timing. It's a timing thing you know."

When the singer was asked about her song "Miss You Goodbye," she says it was about the beginning of her break up with the actor and eventually the star reached out to her about the records and the emotional singer said he responded in an email saying, "Its art and he's sad that it's come to this." she added, "He knows I'm a black Taylor Swift. I'm gonna write about you and I'm gonna talk about you."

The singer says she hasn't spoken to him in the past week, however knows that the media attention does affect him, "I'm sure he's a little bothered, but my thing is, I feel like I protected you for so long, these are my emotions I deserve. I have to protect myself and deal with my emotions."

After the radio host played her single "Miss You Goodbye," the somber singer explained there are no harsh feelings and that the timing was the major factor before she broke down crying.
