Nicki Minaj's high school yearbook photo is just as bad as everyone else's! Days after the release of her brand new album The Pinkprint, the "Only" superstar took to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night and revealed it was working at a string of crappy jobs — including at Red Lobster — that prompted her to follow her dreams and become a rapper. As the "Bed Of Lies" singer deals with an apparent break up with beau of 12 years, Sarafree Samuels (as reported by Mstars News), Minaj took to the late night show to talk Red Lobster and that high school yearbook pic of her that Beyonce posted!

In between gushing about Minaj's role in The Other Woman - playing Cameron Diaz's assistant - Fallon delved into Minaj's work history, figuring out exactly what convinced her to try acting and rapping. "I was an office manager," Minaj explained, "... and then when I was a waitress I was very [mhm] to the customers."

Yes, that's right, Nicki MInaj, rap superstar, was a waitress. And not just for a little while, she did it "Everywhere in New York," she revealed. "I probably waited on people in this audience as a matter of fact," she laughed, pointing at The Tonight Show audience.

"If you've ever eaten at Red Lobster, I probably took your order," she added for god measure.

But it was that string of crappy jobs that made her want to take a chance on a new career, she told Fallon. "That's what made me wanna hurry up and follow my dream. Cos I was like, this is not for me, I gotta hurry up and get out of here before it's too late."

She added later that after studying acting and trying to be a singer, she "wanted to rap because it was what I thought the dudes were doing... and I felt like if I could do what the guys did, I would be cooler, so I started sharpening my skills doing rap."

Platinum singles and albums — as well two more Grammy nominations later (one for "Bang Bang" and one for "Anaconda") to bring her total to six — later, and it seems like it was a good move.

WIth Jezebel saying "the convergence of her power and plaintiveness" makes The Pinkprint "one of her strongest releases", the "Anaconda" star was also flabbergasted by the 300+ million hits that song's video has gotten on youtube saying "that's insane" and wondering why people would "even want to watch it that much."

Fallon then revealed her high school yearbook photo, which Beyonce posted in honor of Minaj's birthday.

"I hate this picture," complained Minaj. So Fallon, ever the gentleman, posted his own — complete with terrifying mustache — to make her feel better.
